Aconite napellus is a homeopathic remedy often used for high fevers of sudden onset with dry skin. Indications for its use include heat with thirst; anxious impatience, cannot be comforted, tossing about with discomfort. Worry and fear are hallmarks of Aconite. The remedy is made from a purple flowering plant also known by the common name Monkshood (because of the shape of the flower).
