Chuan (Hua) Jiao "treat symptoms such as cold pain in the epigastrium and abdomen, indigestion, vomiting, diarrhea, and dysenteric disorders, all of which are due to cold-dampness injuring the middle burner, or abdominal pain due to parasitic infestation.
