Eyebright, 1 oz

Eyebright is indicated for hayfever and allergies. It reduces histamine reactions and calms immunity down. It is for respiratory congestion, sinus infections, allergic conjunctivitis and allergenic ear infections. It is an oral remedy for these situations. It can also be used as eyewash in allergic eye inflammations. When using the alcohol-based tincture in this way, one must get rid of the alcohol first. Boil water and put the dose (2-3 squirts) in to an ounce of the boiled water. Let it sit for 5 minutes and stir. This should evaporate the alcohol. Eyebright can calm down environmental allergies where one reacts to many items in the environment. Use it as a tonic over 1-2 months for it to work. Eyebright is indicated for eyelid and conjunctiva inflammations. Again, use it orally first and topically as an eyewash secondly.*
