Gui Zhi Gan Cao Tang

Gui Zhi Gan Cao Tang (Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Decoction) is a two-herb classical formula from Zhang Zhong-jing's Shang Han Lun (Treatise on Cold Damage). It is one of the simplest and most targeted formulas in the classical canon, addressing Heart yang deficiency that commonly arises after excessive sweating has depleted the yang qi.
