Jia Wei Xiao Yao Pian (Augmented Free and Easy Wanderer) is an enhanced version of the classical Xiao Yao San with the addition of Moutan bark (Mu Dan Pi) and Gardenia fruit (Zhi Zi) to address heat arising from Liver qi stagnation. It is indicated for patterns of Liver qi constraint with heat, Spleen deficiency, and Blood insufficiency.

  • Strengthens the Spleen and nourishes Blood to address the concurrent deficiency
  • Combines the actions of Xiao Yao San with added heat-clearing to treat more complex Liver patterns
  • Min Tong concentrated tablets, 5:1 potency; for practitioner recommendation
