Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan (Kidney Qi Pill from the Golden Cabinet) is a foundational classical formula from Zhang Zhong-Jing’s Jin Gui Yao Lue (Essentials from the Golden Cabinet). It is the primary formula in the category of Kidney yang tonics, built on the yin-nourishing base of Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with the addition of Fu Zi (aconite) and Rou Gui (cinnamon bark) to gently kindle Kidney yang.
