Blue Poppy Indigo Ointment - 0.5 OZ

This ointment is specifically designed to treat herpes zoster (shingles). Its unique formula acts to clear heat, eliminate dampness and course wind; for wind damp heat lesions.

Formerly known as Blue Poppy Herpes Zoster Ointment.

Functions of Herbs used in Formula:

*Fu Rong Hua (Flos Hibisci), Chi Xiao Dou (Semen Phaseoli Calcarati), Qing Dai (Pulvis Indigonis), and Ku Fan (Alumen) clear heat, eliminate dampness.
*Wu Gong (Scolopendra) quickens blood and frees flow of the network vessels, helping to prevent post-herpetic neuralgia.
* Fu Rong Hua (Flos Hibisci) cools blood, dissipates heat and removes toxicity, resolves swelling and expels pus.

To Use: Apply once every other day to the herpetic lesions and hold in place with an adhesive plaster.
