Dang Gui Nian Tong Tang (Tangkuei Decoction to Pry Out Pain) is a classical Traditional Chinese Medicine formula attributed to Zhang Yuan-su and recorded by Li Dong-yuan, available in a 200g concentrated granule format for extended clinical dispensing. Designed for damp-heat bi syndrome, it combines dampness-resolving, heat-clearing, and wind-dispersing herbs with Dang Gui to address joint pain and stiffness with a damp-heat etiology while protecting against yin damage.

Chinese Symptomology: Generalized body aches and pains accompanied by irritability, heavy sensation in the shoulders and back, discomfort or a constricted sensation in the area of the chest and diaphragm, aching and painful extremities and joints, especially with unbearable swelling and pain of the lower extremities. Additionally or alternatively, there may be multiple sores, carbuncles, furuncles or abscesses, accompanied by redness, persistent swelling and possibly itching, pain, fever, or thirst
Contraindications: Do not use for painful obstruction due to wind-cold-dampness.
