Heart Formula is an all around great heart tonic for long-term use. It is for virtually all heart related symptoms and is a great preventative to cardiac disease. Hawthorn increases flow in coronary vessels via dilation, therefore it has been reported to help reduce the likelihood of angina attacks. It also increases blood supply to the myocardium. It is best here for age related changes to the myocardium, as Hawthorn will improve nutrition to the tissue. It helps to strengthen blood vessels and capillary strength. It is not for an angina attack itself, but helps to regenerate circulation over time.
