- Nourishes and fortifies the Liver and Kidneys: for yin deficiency of the Liver and Kidneys with such symptoms as blurred vision, tinnitus, and dizziness. Also used to help patients recover from severe illnesses and to increase the quantity of breast milk.*
- Nourishes the blood and extinguishes wind: for headaches, dizziness, and numbness due to blood or yin deficiency. Particularly useful for dizziness that worsens with activity.*
- Moistens and lubricates the intestines: for constipation due to dry Intestines or blood deficiency.*
