Without weight gain, Jade Pearl 2 tonifies the Kidney and Spleen, resolves Damp, dispels Phlegm, clears constraint, and regulates the Chong and Ren channels. Regulates Liver Qi, addresses Phlegm-Damp accumulation, and regulates the Blood. Supports Kidney Yang and Yin and stabilizes the Liver Blood and Yin. This formula tonifies Blood and encourages its movement in the Chong channel. Several herbs are incorporated into this formula to strongly move and unblock the Qi in the Liver channel.


Jade Pearl 2 is a traditional Chinese herbal supplement formulated specifically for women's reproductive health, particularly those diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) who have not gained weight.

Product Overview

  • Intended Use: Specifically indicated for women with PCOS who have a lean body type (no weight gain). It is often used for 3–6 months to help regulate menstrual cycles and support fertility.
  • Formula Design: It is an augmentation of the classic Xiao Yao San (Free and Easy Powder) and elements of Bu Shen Hua Tan Tang. It focuses on tonifying the Kidneys and soothing the Liver while regulating Blood and Qi.
  • Key Ingredients: Includes White Peony root (Bai shao), Chinese Dodder seed (Tu si zi), Dong quai root (Dang gui shen), and Prepared Rehmannia root (Shu di huang). 

In Jade Pearl 2, we take some elements of Free and Easy Powder Xiao Yao San and augment them by adding Liver-soothing and regulating herbs and Blood-moving herbs. We also take some elements of the formula Decoction for Restoring the Kidney and Removing Phlegm Bu Shen Hua Tan Tang, as we did for Jade Pearl 1, but focus somewhat less on the Phlegm-clearing aspect and more on the Kidney-tonic aspect.* Jade Pearl 2 is indicated for women diagnosed with PCOS who have not gained weight. Ideally, treatment should continue for 3-6 months. If cycles improve in regularity and your patient is trying to conceive, combine Jade Pearl 2 with Jade Moon Phase treatments, particularly during Phases 2 and 3.
