Qing Xin Lian Zi San (Clear the Heart and Lotus Seed Powder) is a classical formula from the He Ji Ju Fang. It addresses a complex pattern of Heart fire excess combined with Spleen and Kidney qi and yin deficiency. The formula uses Lian Zi (lotus seed) as a key herb to clear Heart fire, calm the spirit, and tonify the Kidneys; Huang Qin, Di Gu Pi, and Mai Men Dong clear heat and nourish yin; and Ren Shen, Huang Qi, Fu Ling, and Gan Cao tonify the qi and support the Spleen. The formula’s balanced approach makes it suitable for patterns with both excess heat and underlying deficiency. Available from TCM Zone as concentrated granules in 42 individual packets.
