Si Ni Tang is a classical TCM formula that rescues devastated yang, warms the middle burner, and stops diarrhea. For use only under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
Si Ni Tang, translated as Frigid Extremities Decoction, is one of the most potent classical formulas in the Shang Han Lun. It is the primary TCM formula for rescuing devastated yang in patterns of interior cold collapse, where yang qi is on the verge of complete depletion. This formula contains prepared Aconite (Zhi Fu Zi) and is reserved for severe, life-threatening patterns of yang deficiency collapse.

Chinese Symptomology: Extremely cold extremities, aversion t cold, curling up when lying down, lethargy with a constant desire to sleep, vomiting, diarrhea with undigested food particles, abdominal pain and cold, lack of thirst
Contraindications: Cases with true heat and false cold characterized by cold extremities, thirst with a desire to drink cool beverages, dark urine, and a red tongue with a yellow coat.
