Wen Dan Tang is a classical TCM formula that regulates qi, transforms phlegm, clears the Gallbladder, harmonizes the Stomach, and calms the spirit.


Wen Dan Tang, translated as Warm the Gallbladder Decoction, is a classical TCM formula used to address patterns of Gallbladder and Stomach disharmony with phlegm and heat obstructing the middle burner and disturbing the spirit. Despite its name, the formula is primarily cooling rather than warming in action.
