Xing Su Yin (Pediatric) is a TCM formula that mildly disperses cool dryness, disperses Lung qi, resolves phlegm, transforms thin mucus, soothes the Lungs, and stops coughing in pediatric presentations.
Xing Su Yin (Pediatric) is a TCM formula adapted from the classical Xing Su Yin for use in pediatric presentations. It is designed to gently address cool-dryness patterns affecting children's Lungs, where external cool-dry pathogens impair the Lung's spreading and descending functions, giving rise to dry cough and thin phlegm. The pediatric formulation reflects appropriate dosing and composition considerations for younger patients.
- Mildly disperses cool dryness from the exterior Lung system
- Disperses and restores the smooth flow of Lung qi
- Resolves phlegm and transforms thin mucus to relieve respiratory obstruction
- Soothes the Lungs and stops coughing associated with cool-dryness patterns
Formulated with pediatric presentations in mind. Available from KPC Herbs as 5:1 concentrated granules. Use only under the guidance of a licensed TCM practitioner experienced in pediatric TCM.
