Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang is a classical TCM formula that invigorates the blood, dispels blood stasis, spreads the Liver qi, and unblocks the channels.
Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang, translated as Drive Out Stasis in the Mansion of Blood Decoction, is one of the most celebrated blood-stasis formulas in the TCM canon, created by Wang Qingren in the Yi Lin Gai Cuo. It specifically targets blood stasis in the chest -- the 'mansion of blood' -- and combines blood-invigorating herbs with Liver qi-spreading and channel-unblocking agents.
- Invigorates the blood to break up stasis in the chest and upper body
- Dispels blood stasis from the channels and the 'mansion of blood'
- Spreads the Liver qi to address the qi stagnation that often accompanies or causes blood stasis
- Unblocks the channels to restore healthy qi and blood circulation
Contraindicated during pregnancy. Available from KPC Herbs as 5:1 concentrated granules and capsules. Intended for use under the guidance of a licensed TCM practitioner.
