Lizhong Wan by Classical Pearls is an ancient formula for cold-related stomach pain, poor appetite, loose stool, and other symptoms of Spleen yang deficiency. Spleen yang is in charge of a multitude of physical functions, including the maintenance of body temperature, qi metabolism, protection from external pathogens, facilitation of physical movement, and containment of fluids within the body. First appearing in Zhang Zhongjing’s classic formula compendia, Essentials from the Golden Cabinet (Jingui yaolüe) and Treatise on Disorders Caused by Cold (Shanghan lun), Lizhong Wan is a foundational prescription for many yang deficiency disorders.
Classical Pearls are formulated according to the principles of classical alchemy by Heiner Fruehauf, Ph.D. They contain no pharmaceuticals, preservatives, dyes, yeasts, or added sugars and are independently tested for purity, identity, and the concentration of active ingredients during procurement, manufacturing, and importing.
