Bamboo Pearls by Classical Pearls is inspired by the 2nd century formula Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Tang, originally documented in Zhang Zhongjing’s Essentials from the Golden Cabinet (Jingui yaolüe). From a traditional Chinese medicine perspective, the blend of cinnamon, ginger, and a moderate dose of aconite works to open blocked channels, dispel dampness, and expel wind. Peony, particularly when paired with cinnamon and aconite, helps alleviate pain, cramping, tingling, and numbness. When combined with anemarrhena, a cooling herb, peony also addresses localized heat and congestion.

Classical Pearls are formulated according to the principles of classical alchemy by Heiner Fruehauf, Ph.D. They contain no pharmaceuticals, preservatives, dyes, yeasts, or added sugars and are independently tested for purity, identity, and the concentration of active ingredients during procurement, manufacturing, and importing.
