Neem Oil is an oil infusion of the neem herb, traditionally used throughout much of Asia to support healthy, blemish-free skin. Research also supports the cosmetic use of neem for this purpose and validates its traditional uses. Additionally, lavender and peppermint oils are useful for cooling the skin and calming blemishes and irritated bumps. In a sesame oil base, this oil is good for all skin types and is intended for regular use.

AYUSH™ NEEM OIL contains Azadirachta indica, an Indian herb known for its cleansing actions and the soothing scents of lavender and peppermint essential oil. Traditionally, this oil has been used for skin care. Neem Oil can be used on both the scalp and the rest of the body.

The Latin name, Azadirachta indica, for neem is derived from the Arabic name Azadirach-E-Hind, which translates to 'free-growing tree of India'. All parts of this evergreen, branched tree are highly regarded in Ayurvedic medicine. The young fruits, stem, and root bark are astringent, while the fresh twigs are often used to clean teeth. The seed is a stimulant, while the oils and seeds have antiseptic and insect-repellent properties. Neem has been recognized for its use in offering a healthy response to fungusand infection, immune support, healthy digestion, liver support, and blood sugar support.
