Plantago seed is a common herb in Chinese medicine, used to promote urinary health and fluid regulation. It helps clear heat from the urinary tract, alleviates painful or difficult urination, and manages watery diarrhea by directing excess fluid to the bladder. Additionally, it supports eye health and aids in reducing thick lung phlegm.
Excerpted from Bensky: Chinse Herbal Medicine Materia Medica, 3rd ed.
