Danggui Shaoyao San by Classical Pearls is an ancient remedy often prescribed as a preventative therapy to ensure a healthy pregnancy and smooth labor. First appearing in Zhang Zhongjing’s classic formula compendium, Essentials from the Golden Cabinet (Jingui yaolüe), it combines the three Blood tonic herbs tang-kuei, peony, and ligusticum. Popular among practitioners who specialize in traditional gynecology and obstetrics, it is also prescribed to increase fertility in female patients who exhibit symptoms of Blood deficiency and/or fluid accumulation as well as non-gender specific disorders such as treatment of disorders involving pain in the lower abdomen.
Classical Pearls are formulated according to the principles of classical alchemy by Heiner Fruehauf, Ph.D. They contain no pharmaceuticals, preservatives, dyes, yeasts, or added sugars and are independently tested for purity, identity, and the concentration of active ingredients during procurement, manufacturing, and importing.
