- Stops cough and calms wheezing, redirects the qi downward, and dissolves phlegm: for cough and wheezing with copious phlegm. Especially used when exhalation is more labored than inhalation and there is a stifling sensation in the chest.*
- Moistens the Intestines and unblocks stool: for constipation due to dry Intestines.*
