Xiao Huang San is a veterinary TCM formula indicated for heat conditions presenting with urticaria and skin eruptions. The formula disperses heat, cools the skin, and resolves urticaria. In small animal practice it is used for acute allergic skin reactions, heat-pattern rashes, and hive-like eruptions with signs of heat, including redness, warmth, and intense itching. It is considered a primary TCVM formula for urticaria and heat-driven skin presentations.
