Er Xian Tang (Two-Immortal Decoction) is a modern classical formula developed in the 1950s at Shuguang Hospital in Shanghai, now widely recognized as a foundational formula for menopausal and climacteric patterns in TCM. The ‘two immortals’ refer to Xian Mao (curculigo rhizome) and Xian Ling Pi (epimedium), which together warm and supplement Kidney yang. These are balanced by Zhi Mu and Huang Bai to nourish yin and clear heat from deficiency, and by Dang Gui and Ba Ji Tian to regulate the Chong and Ren vessels. Available from TCM Zone in a convenient 100-capsule concentrated format.

TCM actions include:

  • Supplements the Kidneys and invigorates yang
  • Nourishes the Liver and clears heat
  • Regulates the Penetrating (Chong) and Conception (Ren) vessels

Recommended for use under the guidance of a licensed TCM practitioner.
