Jia Wei Xiao Yao San (Augmented Rambling Powder) is a classical TCM formula from the Dan Xi Xin Fa (Essential Teachings of Dan-Xi). It modifies the foundational Xiao Yao San by adding Mu Dan Pi (moutan cortex) and Zhi Zi (gardenia fruit) to clear the heat that arises when Liver qi stagnation transforms into fire. It is one of the most widely used formulas in clinical TCM practice for Liver qi stagnation with heat signs, blood deficiency, and Spleen weakness. Available from TCM Zone as concentrated granules in 42 individual packets.

TCM actions include:

  • Disperses depressed Liver qi
  • Clears heat
  • Strengthens the Spleen
  • Nourishes the blood

Dissolve packet contents in hot water. For use under the guidance of a licensed TCM practitioner.
