Si Ni San is a classical TCM formula that spreads the Liver qi, regulates the Spleen, and expels pathogenic influences.

Si Ni San, translated as Frigid Extremities Powder, is a classical TCM formula from the Shang Han Lun. It addresses cold extremities caused by Liver qi constraint blocking the flow of yang qi to the limbs, rather than true yang deficiency. Its strategy of spreading Liver qi and regulating the Spleen restores the smooth flow of qi throughout the body.

  • Spreads and smooths stagnant Liver qi to restore free flow
  • Regulates the Spleen to harmonize the middle burner in Liver-Spleen disharmony
  • Expels and vents pathogenic qi constrained within the body
  • Suited to cold extremities from qi stagnation rather than yang deficiency

Available from Min Tong Herbs as 5:1 concentrated granules. Intended for use under the guidance of a licensed TCM practitioner.
