Wen Jing Pian (Wen Jing Wan, WarmMenses) is a classic Chinese herbal medicine that warms meridians to dispel Cold, and nourishes Blood to remove Blood stasis. This formula is used for the TCM syndrome that includes accumulation of Blood stasis in the lower abdomen along with a cold sensation, irregular menstruation, and infertility.

  • Warms the menses
  • Regulates menstruation
  • Dispels Cold
  • Warms the channels
  • Nourishes the Blood
  • Dispels Blood Stasis

According to TCM theory, there is a direct connection between menstrual health and overall women's well-being. Maintaining a regular cycle is essential for healthy, glowing skin. Many women with irregular periods tend to appear pale and emaciated, with coarse skin and other related symptoms. Additionally, irregular cycles can lead to vaginal dryness and decreased libido.

Some women use estrogen supplements to regulate their menstrual cycle. An herbal option is this traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula, WarmMensesâ„¢. This formula may help support a normal cycle and uterine health, potentially promoting internal conditions that contribute to more youthful and healthy-looking skin.

Famous Traditional Formula Warms Menses and Nourishes Blood

Wen Jing Tang, the traditional Chinese herbal formula, has been used for centuries. It is the primary prescription in traditional Chinese medicine for cold-related menstrual conditions, which may present symptoms such as a cold sensation and discomfort in the lower abdomen, irregular menstrual timing, light uterine flow, or spotting between periods.

Women exhibiting this TCM syndrome often appear somewhat malnourished with a pallid face, exhibiting low energy levels and physical weakness. Additional signs include dry mouth and lips, dry palms that crack easily, and dryness or roughness in other skin areas.

How does WarmMenses Work?

WarmMenses warms the meridians, expels cold, nourishes blood, and removes Blood stasis.

Wu Zhu Yu (Evodia Fruit) and Rou Gui (Cinnamon bark) warm the channels and dispel cold, promoting blood circulation. Dang Gui (Chinese Angelica Root), Chuan Xiong (Sichuan Lovage Root), and Bai Shao (Peony Root) invigorate the blood, eliminate blood stasis, and nourish the blood to support a normal menstrual cycle.

E Jiao (Donkey Hide Gelatin), Mu Dan Pi (Moutan Cortex), and Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogon Tuber) nourish the Blood and Yin while effectively removing Blood stasis.

Gan Cao (Licorice root) tonifies the Middle Burner and supports Spleen function to enrich the source of Qi and Blood. Dang Shen (Codonopsis Root) also tonifies the Middle Burner and Spleen, while additionally augmenting Qi.

Gan Jiang (Dried Ginger Root) warms the Stomach to promote the production of Blood and Qi.

WarmMenses includes additional herbs to enhance the original formula. Zhi Fu Zi (Processed Aconite Root) is a warming herb that disperses cold and dampness. Huang Qi (Astragalus Root) and Bai Zhu (Atractylodes Rhizome) are herbs that strengthen Qi.

Yu Jin (Curcuma Root), Xiang Fu (Cyperus Rhizome), and Hou Po (Magnolia Bark) all promote Qi movement.
